While insights and analytics teams are often acknowledged as ‘invaluable strategic assets’ in organizations, they do not always get recognized for delivering tangible impact to a company’s business performance. As a result, insights and analytic functions can at times be overlooked in terms of receiving a seat at the decision table or appropriate resourcing levels to drive business growth.
To knock those barriers down, the Haleon Consumer & Business Insights & Analytics (CBIA) team has developed Principles and Toolkits that provide guidance on ‘how to’ quantify impact of our most prevalent practices and an Impact Scorecard that captures the financial impact (e.g. sales, share, profit) of each CBIA initiative. By measuring the true business impact of insights and analytics, this effort has helped Haleon further appreciate CBIA’s full value to the organization.
