Raquel is a people strategy manager at McDonald’s. What does a People Strategist do? Raquel describes her job as a niche part of HR that helps build organizational processes on people experience, culture and employer brand. It’s her job to understand the restaurant experience and design tools to help make the experience for half million employees in the14,000 McDonald’s U.S. restaurants – BETTER. In 2022, Raquel was recognized with the McDonald’s Circle of Excellence award for her People contributions.

Raquel earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Management and Marketing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds a SPHR certification.
