James has over 20 years of experience working across commercial roles at Mars, Beiersdorf and Molson Coors. Having originally trained in finance, James went on to hold a number of category management roles at Mars before leading the commercial relationships across key U.K. retailers such as Tesco, Morrisons, Co-op and Boots. He switched to the world of brewing in 2011 and has more recently led the pricing, innovation and insight teams before moving into his current remit in 2017. This role requires him to lead both the category management and revenue growth agendas across both the off- and on-premise channels. James is a great believer in creating insight-driven growth strategies that can deliver commercial benefit for both customers and Molson Coors. He also enjoys a beer once in a while, which makes the job a perfect fit!
