Quantitative research in the Metaverse: M.A.Y.B.E. is real

Room 1 | 3:15 pm - 3:45 pm | Wednesday, May 3, 2023

Nowadays people can express their opinions in different places, both physical or digital environments, speaking to a friend in a café or interacting with a social media page and even virtual meetings in the Metaverse. For companies like ours, whose aim is to collect people opinions, is always more important to intercept these sentiments, everywhere at the right moment. And this is the reason why, at FFIND we are always attentive to innovation, we continuously ask ourselves how new technologies can enhance well-known traditional research methodologies. In the last years, we succeeded to reach impossible targets through social media, we are now experimenting a way to interview respondents in the Metaverse.

This combines the advantages of traditional methodologies such as CATI or CAWI turning interviews into a multi-sensorial experience.

In this speech, we will show you the first interview ever did in the Metaverse recruiting a respondent in a public space, re-inventing the concept of Face2Face interviews; we will show you all the possibilities that a Metaverse environment can offer to market research including a new way of recruiting people, different interaction between interviewers and respondents and a brand new way to reward interviewees through crypto-tokens.

We will also introduce the FFIND Coin, a crypto-token specifically created for market research to give a digital value to people’s opinions.

We call this new reality M.A.Y.B.E.. The first M, as you can imagine, stands for Metaverse, you can discover the rest of this acronym during our speech at Quirk’s London.

Key takeaways:

  1. An innovative path to data collection for market researches.
  2. How Metaverse can be the new environment where to recruit and interview respondents.
  3. A new and fully digital way to reward people for their opinions.
