Kat combines integrated and digital marketing experience with a strong background in research. She has worked with clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in the B2B, not-for-profit, real estate, and technology sectors. Born in Europe and fluent in German and Spanish, Kat has successfully completed international digital projects while leading cross-departmental teams. She is one of the co-founders of brandlove, a NYC-based boutique marketing agency. Before starting to work in advertising, Kat was the Program & Events Director for the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. In this capacity, she worked with the local business community, international trade organizations, and corporate partners to create and implement business education and development initiatives.Prior to moving to the United States, Kat completed her Master’s Degree in International Cultural and Business Studies at the University of Passau in Germany where she is now an external Ph.D. candidate. Her research foci are identity formation in multicultural contexts, the representation of ethnic consumer identities in U.S. advertising, and marketing semiotics. Kat is a volunteer with the IWEC Foundation, a globally operating nonprofit that aims to empower successful female entrepreneurs by providing them with access to mentoring, networking, and educational opportunities.
